The MERCOSUR Specialized Meeting on Family Farming (REAF) is an advisory body for the executive bodies of Mercosur (Common Market Group-GMC and Common Market Council-CMC) with the aim of proposing differentiated public policies for the AFC in the region . It operates as a meeting space between family farmers, rural organizations and institutions in Latin America. In this instance, I have participated in Thematic work Groups (TG) of “Trade Facilitation” and TG of “Rural Youth” of the following meetings:

  • XXIV REAF in Asunción, Paraguay (2015)
  • XXV REAF in Montevideo, Uruguay (2016)
  • XXVI REAF in Olmué, Chile (2017).
  • XXVII REAF in Florianópolis, Brazil (2017).
